Genetic test predicts serious adverse reaction to hyperthyroidism treatment
An international research team led by Mia Wadelius, Uppsala University/SciLifeLab, have found gene variants that predict the risk of a serious adverse reaction to drugs used for the treatment of hyperthyroidism. The results were published in The Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology.
