Help shape the future of the DDLS Research School

The SciLifeLab & Wallenberg National Program for Data-Driven Life Science (DDLS) aims to recruit 185 PhDs and 135 postdocs, from both industry and academia, to the new DDLS Research School. Together with the PhDs and postdocs included in the DDLS fellows funding package, the school will house more than 300 attendees. The school will have an annual intake and starts in 2024 with the recruitment of the first PhD students.

A Research School Management Group (RSMG) will now be established, working in close collaboration with the research school managers and personnel from the SciLifeLab Operations Office (OO), to ensure that the research school meets its intended high standards. The group will be chaired by the Research School Director. The constitution of the group will reflect the DDLS program, and the members will provide input and experience within the areas that are important for the DDLS Research School.

Profile of members of DDLS Research School Management Group

The members of the RSMG should have an interest and experience in graduate research schools as well as education and training. The members should also hold a PhD degree and have research experience. It is important that the members have a national perspective and understanding of the DDLS program and its strategy.

At the moment, an open nomination for an industry representative in the RSMG group is ongoing.
