SciLifeLab Training Hub launched

SciLifeLab is proud to announce the launch of its new Training Hub, designed to offer comprehensive training and support to the research community. The hub will provide a one-stop-shop for researchers looking to develop new skills, stay current with the latest technologies, and improve their overall research capabilities.

The Training Hub will offer a range of training support, services, tools and resources aimed primarily at the training programs created and delivered within the SciLifeLab ecosystem. The training support would include hands-on workshops, online courses, and one-on-one consulting on how to co-create your training, how to FAIRify your training materials etc. The training programs from SciLifeLab typically covers a variety of technology- and data-driven life science topics, including genomics, bioinformatics, data analysis, and more. The Training Hub’s team of experienced trainers and support staff will be available to assist staff-scientists and researchers every step of the way.

“We are thrilled to launch the SciLifeLab Training Hub and provide the research community and platforms with the tools and support they need to deliver and consume high-quality training programs,” says Jessica Lindvall, Head of Training Hub. “Our goal is to provide the life science community with openly available training materials mirroring the SciLifeLab knowledge and expertise. Training Hub aims to become a key-enabler with regards to lifelong learning”.

The launch of the SciLifeLab Training Hub marks a significant step forward in the organization’s commitment to supporting the research community. By empowering platforms to offer their own courses, the hub is poised to become a leading resource for the research community seeking to improve their skills and advance their careers.

If you like to be part of building the Training Hub and shaping the lifelong learning future, the Training Hub is currently hiring 1-2 open and empathic Scientific Training Officers.
