Genetic connection to Addison’s disease revealed
A team of researchers led by Gerli Rosengren Pielberg, Uppsala University/SciLifeLab, have found a gene that is strongly connected to the autoimmune Addison’s disease. The discovery has been enabled by the Swedish Addison registry and the result was published in Journal of Internal Medicine.
