For applicants
Second call for recruitment of postdocs
The second call for recruitment of 27 postdocs will open on December 15, 2025, at 11:00 UTC +1.
On December 18 there will be two information webinars for applicants, see the options at Timeline
The candidate will apply with an individually-designed project, with support from a PULSE PI host.
There is a matchmaking portfolio available, to help applicants find suitable SciLifeLab Group Leaders / hosting PI’s for their projects.
Evaluation process and timeline

Redress request
Each decision stage (following eligibility check, evaluation of written proposals and interviews) can be followed up with a redress process. Redress requests can be made with regards to the evaluation process only.

HR services at the host universities
The HR contact person at the hosting department will provide support and advise on formalities regarding relocation to Sweden, e.g. visa applications, setting up bank accounts, enrollment in Swedish administrative and social security systems, health care, and housing with support from local offices specialising in international recruitment of talent.

For principal investigators (postdoc hosts)
This section contains useful information for PULSE postdoc hosts (SciLifeLab Group Leaders), and will be continuously updated.

- All communication material / publications of project data must include acknowledgement of EU funding and disclaimer (see template under ‘Communication & support material’ below)

Supervision
- The mandatory MSCA supervision guidelines should be followed thoroughly
- Supervision with postdoc should be scheduled for minimum 2 hours per week
- The Supervision panel will meet 2 times per year (consisting of main supervisor and two co-supervisors, of which one acts as mentor)
