The first SciLifeLab COVID-19 seminar this spring starts with Nicole Doria-Rose, PhD and Chief of the Humoral Immunology Core at the Vaccine Research Center of the National Institutes of Health, USA, talking about Development of COVID-19 Vaccines at the NIH Vaccine Research Center. Mattias Forsell, Associate Professor of Immunology and Senior Lecturer in Biomedical Laboratory Sciences at Umeå University, then continues the seminar with his talk on The immunology of COVID-19 vaccination: from basic mechanisms to population-based responses

National Genomics Infrastructure has now increased capacity for methylation calling, direct RNA sequencing, sequencing of ultra-long fragments to resolve structural variation.

This online workshop will showcase how to address the legal aspects of mobilising SARS-CoV-2 genome data across Europe and is specifically designed to cater to organisations acting as regional or national coordinators tasked with brokering data across healthcare systems, research infrastructures and publicly accessible data sharing platforms. It is organised by ELIXIR CONVERGE WP9 in collaboration with SciLifeLab and includes speakers on GDPR and local legislation as well as presentations of solutions adopted and developed by project members.
