Announcing new NGI call: project proposals for spatial multiomics analysis on AVITI24
The National Genomics Infrastructure (NGI) is excited to announce a call for project proposals that leverage Element Biosciences’ innovative AVITI24 technology.
AVITI24 Teton is a new line of spatial multi-omics assays capable of providing simultaneous detection of RNA and protein at a subcellular resolution, in addition to cell morphology. At launch, the assay will specifically target 350 genes and 50 proteins involved in the MAPK pathway in adherent cells.
Submit your project ideas and get comprehensive support
To identify projects that can take advantage of the new spatial platform, NGI now invites researchers and teams to submit project ideas that can take advantage of the Teton assays to advance scientific knowledge and innovation. This call is exclusively open to projects affiliated with Swedish academic institutions. Successful proposals will receive comprehensive support, and NGI will fully fund one Teton run. Projects with a clear plan for publication within 12 months will be prioritized.
Submit your project proposal here
The deadline is on January 15, 2025.

More info about Element Biosciences AVITI24
Element Biosciences’ Avidity Sequencing is a breakthrough technology that offers a unique solution for next-generation sequencing. The technology known as Avidity Base Chemistry (ABC) moves away from base detection through strand extension with fluorescent nucleotides and instead relies on avidity binding of fluorophore-coupled avidites in a step decoupled from strand extension.
